Jasmine Williams
Jasmine Williams is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families. She earned her Master’s degree from the California School of Professional Psychology and has spent 9 years creating therapeutic spaces where queer and transgender people can explore their identities, relationships, and lives without fear of judgment or misunderstanding. Her practice is grounded in an intersectional, social justice-oriented framework that recognizes how multiple marginalized identities intersect to shape people’s experiences. Jasmine works extensively with individuals exploring their gender identity and sexual orientation.
She provides a supportive, non-directive space where clients can question, experiment, and discover who they truly are without pressure to label themselves prematurely or conform to others’ expectations. For transgender and non-binary clients, she offers support through all stages of transition—from initial questioning to social transition, medical transition, and beyond.
She writes letters for gender-affirming medical care and connects clients with knowledgeable physicians, legal resources, and community support. Her work with LGBTQ+ couples addresses both universal relationship challenges and issues specific to queer partnerships—navigating different stages of being out, dealing with lack of family acceptance, deciding about marriage or children, and creating relationship structures that feel authentic rather than simply mimicking heteronormative models. She celebrates the diversity of queer relationships, whether monogamous, polyamorous, or otherwise configured.
Her affirming approach helps couples build strong, healthy partnerships based on mutual respect and authentic communication. Jasmine also provides family therapy for parents and family members learning to support their LGBTQ+ loved ones. She helps families work through difficult emotions, educates about LGBTQ+ issues, and facilitates communication between family members who may be at different stages of acceptance.
She leads support groups where LGBTQ+ individuals can connect with others who share similar experiences, reducing isolation and building community. Her office displays pride flags, inclusive language posters, and art created by queer artists—visual signals that this is truly a safe space. Clients describe Jasmine as a lifeline who helped them not just survive but thrive as their authentic selves.
